A new front group

On Nov 2 a group called World can't wait is calling for 'a truly massive day of resistance all over this country'(USA of course). The target of this is of course President George Bush. And publicity for this effort is well under way with ads on Air America radio and internet exposure via indymedia, campus groups and, Revolution. That last is not surprising. The founder of World can't wait, Sunsara Taylor, has her own blogger profile that makes clear her affiliation with the Maoist Revolutionary Communist party

So when WCW proclaims, "Resist or die" they really mean it, since participating in the American democratic system is not enough(it is in fact the problem).

November 2 must be a massive and public proclamation that WE REFUSE TO BE RULED IN THIS WAY. November 2 must call out to the tens of millions more who are now agonizing and disgusted. November 2 will be the beginning—a giant first step in forcing Bush to step down, and a powerful announcement that we will not stop until he does so—and it will join with and give support and heart to people all over the globe who so urgently need and want this regime to be stopped.

As the RCP's chairman puts it "I have a very profound hatred, and I don't hesitate to say it, for this system". The inspiration is clearly Mao's Cultural Revolution as idealized by Bob Avakian,

Through the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in China, the working class and the masses of people, led by Mao and other communist revolutionaries, carried out changes which were unprecedented. Divisions and inequalities were reduced between different strata and sectors of society, including between the country and the city. The people rose up in their hundreds of millions, developing and strengthening not only new economic and social relations and the revolutionization of culture, of people's thinking, etc., but also the different forms of struggle so characteristic of the Cultural Revolution--big character posters, public mass criticism of persons in power, the organization of brigades of youth, which came to be called the Red Guards, and so forth.

So the RCP shoulders its way into the vanguard of the BusHitler mania brigades. But will the media notice who the real clowns are behind the mask of WCW? The role of these and other totalitarian leftists in organizing the rallies of anti-war militants went largely unnoticed by the mainstream media. I wouldn't be surprised if this too passes without scrutiny. So far Air America doesn't appear to have noticed.
